Job Title: Front Desk Customer Service Representative
Reports to: Somerset County Department of Social Services
Classification: Full-time, non-exempt
Shift: 40 hours weekly, 8:00am – 4:30pm Monday – Friday
Salary: $15.00; & limited benefit package
Deadline to apply: December 21, 2021 or until position is filled
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
- Greet customers enter Social Services
- Answer incoming calls and direct them to the appropriate place
- Assist with screening applicants for public assistance programs
- Distribute and collect customer service surveys
- Direct agency traffic
- Education: Graduation from an accredited high school or possession of a high school equivalency certificate.
- Strong focus on customer service.
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Clear speaking voice with a courteous demeanor
- Experience in performing clerical office duties
