The Executive Division is responsible for writing and disseminating the Tri-County Council’s Comprehensive Economic Development Strategy (CEDS), as well as administering Rural Maryland Prosperity Investment Fund monies granted to the Tri-County Council through the Rural Maryland Council. In its role as regional representative for the Lower Shore, the Executive Division communicates directly with the economic development commissions, chambers of commerce, departments of tourism and other economic development professionals within the three Lower Shore Counties and the State of Maryland. Sources of funding include the Maryland Department of Commerce, the Rural Maryland Council, the EDA of the U.S. Department of Commerce, and the three counties of the Lower Shore.
