Job Title:  Customer Services Representative/Scheduler

Division:  Shore Transit

Classification:  Regular Full-Time/40 hours per week

Shift:  Monday through Friday 830a-530p, occasional Saturday required

Salary: $14.00 hour plus a limited benefit package

  •    Provides clerical and communication support for Shore Transit
  •    Create the drivers route for the next business day by scheduling rides and assigning them to the correct drivers
  •    Contact with origin-to-destination drivers regarding their routes
  •    Greet and assist visitors, answer phones
  •    Explain services to potential clients and customers, identifies available solutions to meet customer needs
  •    Maintains client database in Trapeze software, performing data entry and retrieval
  •    Prepares daily ride schedule and customer roster
  • Assists customers with bus schedules
  •    Coordinates scheduling for customers at transfer points
  •    Prepares drivers’ manifests each day


  • Database skills, and ability to learn Trapeze software
  • Strong focus on customer service
  • Knowledge of the Tri-County area (Wicomico, Worcester & Somerset)
  • Strong organizational skills, attention to details
  • Clear speaking and courteous demeanor
  • Clerical office skills
